Presentation
A new online training course in Reparative Experience-Based Grief Therapy (REGT) is scheduled. Reparative Experience-Based Grief Therapy.
This clinical intervention aims to facilitate access—through the promotion of a state of receptivity—to Emergent Post-Loss Experiences (EPLEs), also commonly referred to as after-death communications, which are reported to occur spontaneously in many bereaved individual
Già lo stesso John Bowlby, in light of Attachment Theory, regarded such experiences as a valuable resource for healthy and adaptive grief processing. The difference is that Emergent Post-Loss Experiences (EPLEs) lived within a therapeutically induced state of receptivity are much longer and more articulated than naturally occurring ones. Consequently, Reparative Experience-Based Grief Therapy objectively represents the most advanced, highly effective, and efficient development of grief therapy grounded in the clinical tradition of Attachment Theory.
The effectiveness of Reparative Experience-Based Grief Therapy derives from the fact that this form of psychotherapeutic intervention goes beyond talk therapy, activating—both in patients with severe grief at risk of complication and in those with Prolonged Grief Disorder—an experience that in itself promotes the grieving process.
